After cutting my teeth in the digital marketing world with the likes of JML, the Bauer Media Group and Local World (Northcliffe Media), I decided to strike out on my own. As for the company name, that’s down to my wife. When she was 8 months pregnant, we were naturally thinking about baby names and ended up discussing a myriad of potential names for the first incarnation of the company. Some were jokey, and some were far too serious. In the end, it all got too much for her, and she commented: “Hmm- I just want fish and chips”. Whether this was a stroke of creative genius or just her cravings is lost to the annals of time, but either way, the name stuck. We love it, and it’s something that our clients remember; the perfect recipe for a company name!
